For the third year, Magic at the Mill is bringing its festive charm to Windmill Island Gardens, and tickets are expected to sell out fast as they have in previous years.

With the dazzling “tulip field” of 1,000 LED blossoms synchronized to holiday music, Magic at the Mill transforms the gardens into a festive wonderland.

Families can enjoy the illuminated carousel, seasonal photo spots, and a chance for children to meet Sinterklaas, the Dutch predecessor of Santa Claus, on select days. For those with keen eyes, Sinterklaas’ majestic white horse waits somewhere in the park for a photo opportunity.

Those looking to continue their holiday adventure can visit the nearby Kerstmarkt (Christmas Market) in downtown Holland, now in its 27th year.

“We’ve had two magical years of Magic at the Mill, and each season brings bigger crowds and more lights,” says Windmill Island Gardens Manager Matt Helmus. “This event has quickly become a holiday tradition, and tickets sell out almost every night.”
