What is it: The facility is staffed by three primary care physicians and three advanced practice providers, with capacity to incorporate three to four more health care professionals. This expansion ensures a broad spectrum of health care services, including rotating monthly specialties like cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, pulmonology, sleep medicine, and women’s health (obstetrics and gynecology).

How they’re doing it: “Our approach has always been patient-centric, delivering top-notch primary and specialty care where it’s most convenient for our patients,” says Dr. Gregory Neagos, interim director of University of Michigan Health Partners. “The Wayland Health Center embodies this commitment, ensuring high-quality health care is just around the corner for this community.”
