The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation recently welcomed two new members to its Board of Trustees: Reyna Masko and Dean Reisner. They are taking the baton from Mark Pereira and Barb VanHeest, who have completed their terms.

GHACF invests $1.5M to provide low-cost loans to community nonprofits

The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation recently approved a five-year investment in IFF. Income from GHACF’s stake in the community development financial institution will be used to provide loans to nonprofits in Northwest Ottawa County target communities.

Community foundation grant helps families facing housing crisis

The largest Community Impact award from the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation will be given over three years to Good Samaritan Ministries. The grant will be used to help the nonprofit open a satellite office in Northwest Ottawa County.

Foundation grants additional $625,000 for COVID-19 relief

The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation was part of a community coalition that granted more than $900,000 this spring, and now they’ve aided the community relief and recovery response with an additional $625,000.

Once the Grand River Greenway is complete, the public can explore this 30-mile pathway and the many spectacular parks along the way — by foot, bike, or kayak. 
Foundation raising money to expand, improve Ottawa County parks

The Ottawa County Parks Foundation is coming alongside the county parks system to advance the Grand River Greenway. The project would connect communities and protect thousands of acres of natural lands.
