Windmill Island Gardens extends season amid record attendance

Windmill Island Gardens traditionally closes the first weekend of October but, for the first time, the Holland park will reopen to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 24. Admission rates will be reduced to $5 for adults and free for kids 15 and younger.  

The WMS’s Debut Strings string orchestra program performs in 2019. The proposed Tune Up program is also a string orchestra program, slated to begin in 2022 in Muskegon Public Schools, in collaboration with their IMPACT after-school program.
Symphony announces $5M campaign to build an endowment

The leaders of the West Michigan Symphony have launched the Play Your Part campaign, as part of a $5 million fundraising effort to build the WMS endowment while investing in music education programs for underserved children in the Muskegon area.
