What’s happening: The Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce has two lead investors supporting its Trailblazing into the Future Capital Campaign. In return for their investments, Haworth and LG Energy Solution have been granted naming rights to the Chamber’s new home on the third floor of The Next Center, 65 E. 7th St. in downtown Holland.

What does it mean: The Career Center Powered by Haworth will be a hub connecting business and education. This space will offer students and young adults access to career exploration programs, workforce readiness tools, and meaningful connections, helping ensure a strong talent pipeline for generations to come.

What they’re saying: “At Haworth, we’re passionate about creating spaces that inspire people to learn, collaborate, and grow,” said Matthew Haworth, chairman of Haworth. “Supporting the Career Center aligns well with our vision to help equip the next generation of talent right here in West Michigan.”

What’s the impact: The Innovation Center Powered by LG Energy Solution will host all in-house Chamber programs and provide flexible space for member meetings and community gatherings. With movable walls and a modular design, the Innovation Center can easily transform into two conference rooms, one large meeting space, or a completely open layout for more than 100 guests.

“The West Coast Chamber is one of our most important partners in the state of Michigan,” said Dae sik Choi, president of LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. “This facility underscores our shared commitment with the West Michigan community to grow local talent and foster a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and advanced technology.”

What’s next: In addition to its naming investment, LG Energy Solution’s contribution has unlocked a donation match program, inviting businesses and individuals to double their impact and be part of this space.

“We are beyond grateful for partners like Haworth and LG who are coming alongside the West Coast Chamber to make this move to The Next Center a reality,” said Jodi Owczarski, president and CEO of the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce. “This is more than a new office – it’s the beginning of a new chapter focused on collaboration, innovation, and community impact.”
